THE STORY : It was during a trip to French Guyana that the creators of ARHUMATIC learned to appreciate the Freycinet banana. In search of local fruit on the market stalls of Cayenne, Saint Laurent of Maroni (amongst others) we noticed this little fruit. Freshly picked, at peak ripeness, the Freycinet reveals all its fragrances.

THE FRUIT : The Freycinet is a variety of banana with an incomparable flavour. It has a real concentration of aromas enclosed in its heart. Its mini format seduces kids and adults alike. The Freycinet is atypical and unique. Its dense flesh, sweet and fragrant, is cultivated in tropical climates where it grows at altitude.

SEASONALITY : Exotic fruits are imported throughout the year and their presence on the stalls is not subject to the season. ARHUMATIC Musa Paradisiaca is thus available all year long.

ADVICE FOR PRESERVATION : After opening, this maceration begins to colour due to oxidisation, to which the Freycinet is prone. This development has no effect on the flavour qualities of this flavoured rum. After having disintegrated it will form deposits but then the Freycinet changes no more. It is literally cooked by the rum.

Tasting
Between amber and light, the Freycinets give this elixir its amber glow, also underlined by the vanilla seeds.
The caramelised notes of biscuit and chocolate give off the first fragrance. The vanilla adds a touch of luxury.
The attack is thick. The aromas are heavy and powerful. The balance between the Freycinets and the vanilla is harmonious and evokes delicious memories of flambéed bananas. The combination of vanilla and rum with the aromas of the Freycinet transform, giving way to a biscuit chocolate flavour.
