THE STORY : As the end of year festivals arrive and to complete the roasts range the idea of this new recipe has been in preparation for many months. Which fruit? which syrup? which spice? It is difficult to find a very soft flavoured rum but what could be better than the pear. Very soft, this fruit must be combined with something else with more pep to lift its finesse. It is why ARHUMATIC chose the Timur peppercorn from Nepal, also known as the Nepalese grapefruit.
THE FRUIT : Pears are a classical and exceptional fruit due to its texture and aroma. In Summer, Autumn and Winter, pears are an everyday fruit. With different shapes and textures, they are always sweet, juicy and melting. For several years arboriculturalists took a chance on cultivating this everyday fruit and making it an exceptional one. Naturally, the pear selected by ARHUMATIC, the Piperata Pira is cultivated according to particularly demanding specifications.
SEASONALITY : Piperata Pira is the baby of the ARHUMATIC range and is offered from November 2016. It is produced according to the season, that is from October to March.
